Yes the countries come up correctly everywhere, but my point is this....
Once you SELECT the country, it is truncated in the country field box...
was this the case with you?...i'm using firefox...

I tried 1.3.7 locally and all seems fine.
Then I checked back on the remote server
and fatal errors have disappeared...dunno whats goin on
but maybe the server was having a bad hair...
