I decided to give two rewrite rules, depending on the port used for the request (80 for a normal HTTP request, 443 for an SSL one). Just replace this line:
RewriteRule ^(.*) index.php?/$1...

I think there is a problem with your .htaccess file. It seems you did not turn the default line
RewriteBase /zencart/
into
RewriteBase /shop/
