Just an update... I tried to install another contributions to my test installation and the same thing happened. I think it's more than likely a problem with pear.
Okay, I'm able to get into admin again.
I simply removed the require functions from the following files:
admin\includes\init_includes\init_file_db_names.php

Any idea how I can get it to stop calling for that file?
I'd rather just remove the whole thing than fool with it if it's not stable.

I would think just clear the item tables on your SQL database. I haven't done it myself but I would assume that would be the easiest solution. Don't delete the whole database! =P
