OK so not as bad as I thought. Simply scroll down the list of images and you can see at a glance all those that are far too large and just treat those. Then delete the old images using FTP. Thanks...

OK found it - I was in the wrong top level. Shame though that you cannot apply scale to multiple images - just the one at a time

Our hosts have spent hours resolving a number of issues on the server and we are fully back up and running again

I see that the layout settings for right and left sideboxes have no effect on the bootstrap template.

And another real oddity - uploaded epub and mobi files linked them to download attributes and just get a 404 error - seems that the databases are getting out of sync?

Never had this issue before so do not know why it has suddenly started. Copy from calibre to my system and upload?

OK so the issue seems to be caused by copying some images from Calibre which gives a 403 error.

If you download the same image from somewhere like Goodreads it all works fine ... very strange!

OK so it seems some images you download are causing the 403 error so you need to download them under a different name. Still don't get why????

Permissions are absolutely fine. The blurred image loaded but when I uploaded a clear image I got the 403 error. No other product is doing that.

I have been revising all my product images bacuse of recent crashes they all appear blurred.
