Nevermind, I found and coded it in. The code was in includes/modules/additional_images.php, so I added a new ifcheck.

I already read that, and does not offer a solution. I cannot turn off additional images, and I cannot rename the files because they must match the model #.

The store has over 1000 products. It would take some time to rename a lot of those images, and not only that I don't even know what ones would be the ones I need to rename.

Does anyone know how to disable this feature? Our client send us many images that cause this, which we do not want to happen.

I globally disabled the two configs and it's working fine now.
