The product type document general doesn't require a product nr. In fact if you give it one it turns itself into a regular product (with pricing and all).

At least that is what I experience with the ep upload. I've tried not giving it a product nr and than it won't upload (or it will upload but terminate the product) and by giving it the product nr it turns itself into a regular product.

Now I have quite a lot of document general things to upload so if anyone has a solution?
