    Default DNS Name Change

Alright, long story short the our old DNS Registrar screwed with us and we just got a new doman name for the site. Problem is, even when I pointed the new domain name to our server, the moment it loads Zen, it trys to use our old domain name that is no longer in service.

What Files contain that information so I can go in and change it?

First off - You OWN the previous Domain name and this is ruled by ICANN and no one can prevent you from obtaining access to it for any purpose such as transferring it to another registrar - If they give you any guff just tell them that you will be reporting them to ICANN

    http://www.icann.org/

Back to your issue - This is most likely remaining in your configure.php files (2 of them) Check them for domain names

I know, I know. But we need the site up NOW, not wheneveritmightbe that we can transfer to another registrar.

Changed the Domain Name in both of them in all locations that they came up. Same problem

Thanks for the quick reply btw

positive. the new url (remove the -'s) o-u-t-p-o-s-t-x-t-r-e-m-e.com

I could try restarting the server if you think that would help?

This has got to be your configure.php files

Try first deleting the ones on your server before FTP'ing your current edits up to the server insuring that they are deleted first

I just checked the files on the server. Both of them have been changed. I did a search inside both files, neather of them have any referance to my old doman name

Are there any other files AT ALL that would use the doman name? Template Files perhaps?

Alright, I was right about the configure.php files. They have been changed.

However, the little redirector I made when I moved the folder was not. Completely forgot about the lil SOB. It's changed now. Thank you for your help. If you didnt tell me about the configure files this would have taken 5 times as long to figure out
