using attribute pricing... but now "price" is blank on product listing page

becuase the soaps come in two sizes with two associated quantity discounts, I used attributes for that, leaving the pricing of the actual product blank (because otherwise it created these mathematical issues between the product and attributes I couldn't figure out). So now of course, the price is empty on the product listing page and the product info page, although if you select products from attributes and purchase them, the pricing is correct.

Can someone make a suggestion how to deal with this most effectively?

a 2 oz bar is 3$, more than 2 of them are 2.50$
a 4oz bar is 5$, more than 4 of them are 4$

as a sidenote, I'd really love to have that quantity discount table on the product info page, not a separate popup. i've searched on both issues here, but apologize if i missed something.

Looks like you may have deleted it in your template ...

Try switching to Classic and see if it returns ...

If not, check the Configuration ... Product Listing ... and make sure it is turned on ...

okay. i did check, and actually it is activated in product listing, and I didn't delete it from the template, the product price title is still there, the actual price isn't. Also, i've uploaded some products that don't have attribute pricing, but just regular pricing, and those show up just fine.

As a note, i'm actually using the classic template.

I guess here's my issue.... should I NOT use attribute pricing? What's the most effective way to deal with the problem above?
