How to I change the HTML output for the navigation links?

I need to change the " |_ " bullet on the side menu.

admin/configuration/layout setting:

Categories Separator between the Category Name and Sub Categories
What separator do you want between the Category name and Sub Category Name?
Default = |_ 


Change the vlaue in red to what you want or leave it blank.
