Default Reference new page in url address

I'm eager to find out how to make a page that I created referenced in the URL. For example zen already has http://www.site_address.com/index.ph..._page=site_map or http://www.site_address.com/index.php?main_page=send_gv. Say I have a page that I want to be referenced in the url address bar as http://www.site_address.com/index.php?main_page=buy_gv

What would I have to modify??

    _thanks

Download the "About Us" addon. It is an example of a new "page" being added to the store. Customize it as needed.

I'm assuming you want to create a new page and have Zen Cart automatically include it in the navigation. Two other options are:

    1. Use the built-in defined pages. Go to Admin > Tools > Define Pages Editor > defined_page_2.php etc.

    2. Use EZ Pages (I can't remember if this is built in or is an add-on!). If you've got it you'll find it under Admin > Tools > EZ Pages > New File.

.. ok so I have installed the add on - it seems to be exactly what I need. I am having a few problems though - let me explain...

I wish to use the page just like the product_info page but for a specific product - how could I achieve this so that the information is processed and sent to the shopping cart just like for the product_info page?

    _thanks

    You can't.

Sounds like you're really wanting a separate product type instead.
