Differences between pending, processing and delievered question?

Differences between pending, processing and delievered question?

What I'm thinking on this is:

Pending - Waiting for the money to come in from customer

Processing - Notifying customer that seller is packaging and getting the package ready for delievery

Delivered - Notifying customer that package is en route to their destination

What is the "Update" status for?

I think that Pending implies that the Seller has yet to recognize the order or take any action.
Processing implies that the Seller has recognized the order, and has begun to take action, but has not yet shipped the product.

So, do I have to make the change manually, or is there something that triggers the change to list an order as completed?

Interesting that we had to change all "Delivered" to "Shipped".
Had two separate customers who were irate that the items were not delivered. One said, "I just looked on the front porch and there's nothing there."
Just when you think you've made it idiot proof......

dbltoe- As a professional writer, who on occasion does not communicate well, I would suggest that half of the problem with idiots understanding is that of the writer. This is especially true of technology, where those explaining are so close to the trees that they forget that to the newcomer it's a forest without a discernible path.

Hmmmm, I don't have a "localization" folder in my admin section, but there is an Order_Status file. Any chance this would be the one?

I also have an Order_status file in languages/english.

Can you tell me what the code is that I'm looking to change?

Admin/backups
Admin/images
Admin/includes
are the only folders.

in the address bar of your browser, enter the address of your site followed by /admin (www.yoursite.com/admin)

log in to admin

got to Localization Menu......

Ah, now I understand. Got it changed. The / is what threw me, since / is associated with a file structure and at least in my mind, not the "Admin" section. Anyway, found it and I'm grateful for your persistence.

Remember, in the forum, when someone says

go to "yoursite.com"/admin
or
yoursite.com/admin
or even
"your admin"

they are generally talking URLs vs File Management.

maybe if I hadn't put it in quotes......
