Differences between pending, processing and delievered question?

What I'm thinking on this is:

Pending - Waiting for the money to come in from customer

Processing - Notifying customer that seller is packaging and getting the package ready for delievery

Delivered - Notifying customer that package is en route to their destination

What is the "Update" status for?

I think that Pending implies that the Seller has yet to recognize the order or take any action.
Processing implies that the Seller has recognized the order, and has begun to take action, but has not yet shipped the product.

Interesting that we had to change all "Delivered" to "Shipped".
Had two separate customers who were irate that the items were not delivered. One said, "I just looked on the front porch and there's nothing there."
Just when you think you've made it idiot proof......

dbltoe- As a professional writer, who on occasion does not communicate well, I would suggest that half of the problem with idiots understanding is that of the writer. This is especially true of technology, where those explaining are so close to the trees that they forget that to the newcomer it's a forest without a discernible path.
