Shipping Modules missing

I have V1.3.8a. In admin under Modules/Shipping, my list of shipping modules has gone - including my ability to modify any of them. I have added the latest AustPost module a while back and that has been and is still working fine. I tried restoring files from a previous backup, but no change. Can someone please tell me if there is a particular file that displays the page in question that I could check, or offer some advice on how to remedy this problem. Thanks.

Check that you do not have any error messages in the Admin Modules ... Shipping ... and that you see the panel on the right ...

If you see errors, could you post them?

Next, check if you have mixed up language files and code files or if you have backup copies of files in either directory:
/includes/modules/shipping
/includes/languages/english/modules/shipping

You are a legend. There were no error messages and the panel wasn't visible either. However, as you suspected, I did have a backaup copy of the austpost.php file in /includes/modules/shipping. Once I renamed the extension to php1, the problem was fixed and all the shipping modules are now visible again. Thank you for your prompt reply.

You are most welcome and thanks for letting us know that the problem was a backup of one of your existing files which would result in a class attempting to load with the same name twice and that is a no no in php ...
