Setting the language from a page outside Zen cart

Hi there,

I'm trying to set the language from a page outside Zen cart. But even if I set $_SESSION['language'] in index.php to the value I need the next page will come up in the default language.

Is there a way to set the language in one point to last for that session?

In the link to the page, insert the parameter '&language=cn', where cn would be the name of the language, in this case Chinese. The language will last until the user asks for a different language.

Oh stupid me. I tried 'french' and not 'fr'...
