Default How do I setup a no-payment-up-front product?

    Hello

Now I give up :) I have tried to figure out how to set up a magazine subscription product for many days now. Can't figure it out so I need some input from you experts out there.

    1. The shipping cost is solved by setting the weight to 0 (zero). Shipping is included in the price.

    2. The customer does not need to pay anything at the check-out. Included with the delivery of the first issue is a invoice.

But how ho I do that?

The payment method Cash on Delivery (cod) is already used to handle a fee for payment on delivery – "postförskottsavgift" as it is called (and common) in Sweden.

    Regards, Magnus

What happens when I buy a magazine subscription and a nice coffee mug? Now how should the charges be managed?

Or ... do you "only" sell subscriptions and everything is billed later?

    Well Ajeh,
you must pay for the coffee mug – just the subscription is billed later by a invoice :)

Yes, the client sell other things to. Now I'm just thinking loud… maybe it can be set up as a "free" product with a price-tag (like free shipping can have a price). Or always a 100% discount (without showing that is a discount)…

    Any idea is welcome :)

So customer needs to see the Price of the subscription but in the end, not get billed for it ...

Does the customer need to see the price in the Order email, Account History etc. or how does that work?

    Evening.

No, it's not necessary to see the subscription price in the order mail (or history). Would be good – but it's not a must. In a perfect world… yeah.

Would like to hear the answer to this?

Was it resolved? I to will not charge users up from but bill them later. Email confirmations still need to be send to all parties.

    Thanks

    .................. later.....
Im going to try COD option to see if this will do what I need.

You could use Check/Money Order moneyorder and change it to read:
    Will Bill You Later

Or something along that line ...

This allows the checkout to happen, but no money really changes hands until you bill them later ...
