PayPal Question

I have setup Paypal in the payment module but in the order status column is says "processing." In a test when you go to check out it does not go to Paypal. I have searched the forum and did not find this issue. Can anyone help or direct me to a previous discussion of this issue.
Thanks.

Processing is the correct status. The button should be green.

Do you have the PayPal fields completed?

What is the url for your site = if we see it, we can test it/look at the issue for you.

Re: PayPal Question

When I just checked the site things have changed - when you click to checkout it goes to a blank white screen.

Re: PayPal Question

AHHHHHHHHHH KIDS - they do come in handy every now and then, son't they???

Can't access your site - is it down for maintenance?

Debug is pretty simple really (once you get ot know it!)

Upload the enable_error_logging.php to your includes / extra configures file.

Make sure the chmod on the cache file is 755 or 777

Then go to your site and recreate the problem (blank white page)

Then it's back to your FTP, open the cache folder, then view the error report.

This report will tell you what files are misbehaving!

Re: PayPal Question

I will definately need help the first run thru - uploading and files and all!!!!
Yes, they do come in handy.
The site is not live yet so I do not know if it shows its under maintenance.
Someday I will look back at this and smile.

Re: PayPal Question

When you say "make sure the chmod on the cache file is 755 or 777" where do I go to make sure it is?

Then do I just go through the site and go to the page that is blank?
And then when you say "Then it's back to your FTP, open the cache folder, then view the error report" where is the FTP? Sorry we are new.
