How can I have my customer choose which warehouse to ship from?

I am not sure whether my requirement has a specific name, however, I am sure that someone will advise!

I am setting up a site that sells a set of products, however, they will be based (duplicated) in two locations - Europe and China. This is how I would like it to operate:

1. Customer visits site
2. they choose their prefered purchasing method i.e. direct from factory (China) or from the EU (duty/tax paid)
3. dependant on their choice, the relevant source currency, shipping and payment method is used

The prices from each location will be different (not only currency, but physical base price, due to duty/tax etc).

I am sure that a multi store environment is what I require, but would like some guidance from you Zen pro's!

The only way I see to do that with Zencart (without a lot of custom coding) would be to have 2 separate Zencart installations altogether, with maybe a jump page to direct customers to one or the other.
