How do I add FastTransact payment module?

I have a merchant account through FastTransact and they pointed me to their Zen Cart download for integration. I downloaded it and put it in .../zen-cart/includes/modules/payment, but it didn't show up in my admin control panel. I then tried to put it in ...zen-cart/includes/languages/english/modules/payment, but that made ALL of the payment modules disappear - weird. I deleted the file and they all came back.

So... where do I put the download so I can select FastTransact as my payment processer?

Did they give you a ZIP file?
If so, you need to unzip it first, and then put the enclosed language file in the language folder, and the module file in the module folder.
Zen Cart doesn't read zip files.

I did unzip the download. It included a single file named VELOCT_zencart.php. I'm assuming this is the mod file; I just don't know what to do with it. I put it in the .../modules/payment directory on the server and, as described in my original post, it didn't work.

A properly-built payment module includes both the payment module and its language file.
The language file has the same physical filename, but sits in the languages folder.
The language file typically only contains several "define" statements. It does *not* contain any "class" statements.

You may have to ask them for the rest of the module code.

Yes, I see. I downloaded another Zen Cart zip (for a different payment processor) and, sure enough, it had language AND module files. I'll need to call FastTransact on Monday to see where I get the rest of the package.

Here's the short history of my problem:

When I first downloaded the module a few months ago it turns out it wasn't complete and contained errors and missing files. I notified FastTransact and they got on the job to get it working. I since have down loaded later versions a couple of times and none seem to work. I've tried contacting the support folks to see if it's a settings problem or still the module. They haven't gotten back to me and I have been tied up with other things (using the manual virtual terminal in the mean time) so I don't have any info that's current. ...but I need to (and will) follow up soon!

So, no, my problem has not been resolved yet.

I hope someone takes you up on your offer, but you're ALREADY paying FastTransact to build a module that works! We need to put on more pressure!

they said they can't give any support on the broken module that they gave us. They said "we are not programmers"...so why give it to us in the first place.
