Coupon Issues

I'm new to Zencart using version 1.3.8a at my host site (BlueHost Linux with PHP and MySql) to sell tickets for a large event I produce with a friend. We use volunteers, giving them discounts for hours worked. I used the ZenCart Gift Certificate function, sending a Gift Certificate for various amounts to about 30 volunteers that may be used to reduce the purchase of a ticket.

I've encountered some issues sending Certificates to people who are not customers where I entered a wrong email address or the email address was invalid. The problems are:

I am unable to cancel or resend a Gift Certificate or change the amount.

The email for the Certificate does not show up in my Sent folder, however messages from order maintenance do show. The certificate email messages do arrive at valid email destinations. I would like a record of the sent email.


Any help appreciated. For now I'm going to issue new Certificates since there is no chance the originals will ever make it to the intended destination.
