COD Not showing as payment method

COD won't show as payment method at checkout. How can I get it to display?

Using Zencart 1.38 to sell tickets to an event. All "products' (tickets) are delivered at the gate and have no shipping. Installed COD payment method for last minute purchasers and plan disabling checks/money orders. COD is active and have tried setting a zone, and no zone, tried various browsers, but COD won't show as a payment method.

COD cannot be used on Downloads or Virtual Products ...

How are your products setup?

The products are virtual, that was the way I was figured out how to stop the shipping process since everything is picked up at the gate.

Is there a way to set the product so shipping is not required and I can use COD or Cash at Gate/Store? For example a product that must be picked up at the store.

I forgot to mention my initial attempt at this was to set up a real product for store pickup using a zone. However all I could generate was a message saying something like "we are not shipping to your area", hence the virtual product.

Could you just use Check/Money Order moneyorder and change the text to read COD (or whatever) so that while it looks like COD to the customer and uses the same features of just getting the product checked out?
