PURCHASED PRODUCTS amount wrong!

I have sold 3 items but in: admin>reports>products purchased, it says there were 4 items purchased.

I think the 4th. item was when I was messing around with my cart before I actually opened it. There are no "fake" customers created and no other orders than the one I have...

any ideas how to fix this so it shows only the 3 items I did actually sell?

There is a field in the products table for products_ordered that you could update ...

At the risk of sounding stupid...where would I find the "products table"? Are you talking about where you set up each product...the number on hand?

You can see your database tables via phpMyAdmin that should come with your Control Panel for your website from your hosting provider ...
