sticks on "step 1 of 3" checkout_shipping

Hello;

I'm setting up a store, so far... so good

My issue now, is that when i try to "check out", after signing in/registering, Zen takes me to index.php?main_page=checkout_shipping, and shows the header/footer/sidebar, but no shipping content on the page.

I've enabled "free shipping" as my only shipping module, so not sure why it's even going to the shipping page.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

When you say you enabled Free Shipping I am assuming you mean freeshipper and all of your products are 0 weight or marked as Always Free Shipping and 0 weight has been configured to mean Free Shipping and that no Zone has been set on the shipping module ...

I am also assuming that you are not referring to Downloads or Virtual Products ...

It might be easier to see this in action vs try to guess what you have setup ...

I've not entered any weight for any products, and i've set everything to free shipping.

I did find a post about this from a coupld of years ago, and the solution was to turn on one of the shipping options, which i have... at a loss... been at this for a few hours now.

I think i got it...

The fancy template i bought had an *empty* tpl_checkout_shipping_default.php file...

I deleted that, and now seem to get past that stage.
