Attribute Question

I have learned alot woring with this but i am still unclear as to the attributes. I searched all over and i think i found the answer but i could be wrong.

Is there a way or mod that can be installed to define product numbers to each attrubute?

say you have a red shirt, blue shirt, and green shirt...each shirt would not have the same numbers, otherwise how would you ever track exactly which one you sold?

so my question, how do i define a specific model number or UPC to each attribute product?

any help would be appreciated.

No, that's not possible with Zencart now - the next version, I think.

There's a mod that purports to enable that feature, but I'm not sure if it works.

do you happen to know which mod does that? i can try it. i heard the next version of zencart is to be out this fall.

well thats just not going to work. have no clue about german. oh well, guess i will have to wait till it comes out in the next version. that stinks...
