Disable group pricing on sales or specials?

Hello all,

Is there a way to disable or bypass group discounts on specials or sale items? I have a group that gets a 10% discount on all products but I don't want the discounts of the sale/special to be added to the group discount.

There isn't anything built in to exclude discounts based on the Group Discount in reference to products on sale or with a special ...

I have the same problem: to avoid a double application of the discount. I tried with the excellent contributin "Online Group Pricing" and the problem seems to be solved. It is needed to disable the module "group pricing" in the ORDER TOTAL. The Cart shows directly the final prices with the group discount applied. For the products on sale the sale price is maintained. If someona tests this module, I will be interested to its comment.
