icons missing,strange text..HELP

I know there is a lot of info already in the forum but I've spend a few hours on this already and now decited to try my luck with asking you helpful people...
I attached a pic of what's obviously wrong:
when you change onto the German language page from my main page www.pinuppeepshop.com and then put stuff into the cart there are icons missing.
The shopping cart icon, the update icon and there is all kinds of strange text.
I uploaded those icons into the images folder but nothing changed.
Also the grey cart box in the middle is too long squeezing the sidebox on the right.
All of this is fine and looks great on my english language page.
I also tried to change the purple colored text on my stylesheet.css without success.

Please please help me to help myself!!

What version of Zen Cart are you using?

Where did you get the template?

I downloaded it from the download section on this page.
If I only would know where to look for missing files... I could compare it to my english template.

Ok after sleepless nights of thinking and searching I found at least the solution for part one of my errors:
in the document public.html/includes/languages/german/icon_names.php
the icon names where undefined. I had to define it like this:
define('ICON_IMAGE_UPDATE', 'button_update_cart.gif');

easy enough...

I have the same problem too.
Could anyone tell me more detail how to fix this problem?

Sorry i'm not good at it, this is my first time to set up online shop. Any help would be greatly appreciate!!!
