    Default View cart problems

    When no products are selected and you click view cart, you get a message:
    Your shopping cart is empty, but I also get a line that shows New Products for July. I have the new products stuff turned off, but that still shows up.
    Any ideas on how to take that out?

    I believe you have set your Maximum Values on the New Products Centerbox to 0 ...
    New Products Module
    Number of new products to display in a category

    Yes, I don't want to show any new products. The problem is that the line still shows
    New products for July even though I shut off the option.

    If you reset the maximum to 10 and turn it off in the Configuration ... Index Listings ... instead, then you don't see the New Products Centerbox and you do not get the line that goes with it nor the error caused by running it with the setting of 0 ...

    NOTE: there are also settings in the Stock for the New Products Centerbox specific to the shopping_cart page ...
