Select the Gift Certificates module and REMOVE it (uninstall it). The REMOVE button appears when you select the module to view/edit.

Thank you schoolboy, but before I do that, I just want to clarify my question. I still need the GC module, I just want to turn off the FAQ link and can't find it anywhere in admin.

As schoolboy said, you can turn off the GV support by Removing the module. This also removes the FAQ link from the sidebox.
If you need the GV feature enabled but can't stand the sight of an FAQ link for the benefit of your customers, you can manually edit your customized tpl_information.php sidebox and hack out the link from there.

What are your intentions regarding your customers possibly needing help regarding GC's ? Without the FAQ, are you providing telephone support, for example?
One of my clients sells a large number of GC's, and the site has both the standard GC FAQ and a separate EZPage with more detailed help... but people still telephone for advice.
I personally do not see the logic of removing a feature that helps customers...![]()

My client does not sell the GV's they send specific staff a GV as an incentive prize and all instructions are included in the mail. Not everyone using Zen Cart uses it for sales in my case the only way to purchase is using a GV.
