Gift certificate currency issues

One year old thread, but I'm stuck too ... :s

I see no posts but have the same issue. Customer can only redeem gift certificate if it is in US$ and it doesn't recognize the other currency although it is shown.

Is there a solution out there.......

I have the newest version and this is an old thread, can someone please help!!!

I am From South Africa and we work in Rands

The current setting is in Rand. You only need to change it to US$ and the gift certificate works..changing back to Rand and it doesn't.
