Free Shipping Options not working correctly

Yes. There are a couple of products/categories that I have drop shipped from my vendors or are heavy pieces which would kill us if we offered free shipping, i.e. bulk products, flooring, etc. Can you point me in the proper direction for excluding those categories?

You could add something like:

        $chk_categories += $_SESSION['cart']->in_cart_check('master_categories_id','35');
        $chk_categories += $_SESSION['cart']->in_cart_check('master_categories_id','25');
        if ($chk_categories > 0) {
          $this->enabled =  false;
        }
}

where the Products you are testing for use for their master_categories_id 1, 25 or 35 ...

Linda you had helped me set up free shipping for orders over 100 and it works and orders under 100 a 11.95 handling charge. I did notice one thing. For international orders a handling fee of 11.95 is charged no matter what. I want it to be the same across the baord.

Are you just using the Flat Rate flat shipping module and the setting in the Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ot_shipping to control when it is a Flat Rate of $11.95 or Free Shipping for orders over $100.00?

If so, check the settings in the Shipping ot_shipping and make sure it is set to Both and not to National ...

That should make the shipping universal for either $11.95 on orders < $100.00 and Free Shipping for orders over $100.00 to everyone ...

Hi! Just want to share that I benefitted from this thread? I was wondering why the shipping methods that show on my online store is only the walk in option when I have chosen two more in the shipping modules - flat rate and per item.

Then I found that it's because of the product's weight which has been set to zero. When I fixed it, the other shipping options became visible.
