Newbie question

I am new to using any kind of shopping cart. I have built a page for my business using dreamweaver and before I start setting up Zen Cart do I have to re-set up my site in Zencart or can I link it.

You can install Zencart in a subdirectory and link to it from your site, but consider using Zencart as your total site, using the templating system to duplicate the look of your current website.
