Dropdowns, attribute images, & removing columns from index page

I have a few questions that hopefully some of you can answer. For reference you can see an item from my store here: http://mxmachines.com/shop/index.php...3babaa699a089d

1) When I only have 1 item in a dropdown menu it will automatically display as a radio button with text to the side. I want it to just display a normal dropdown menu with 1 item available.

2) The formatting of the dropdowns is different for almost every attribute. I want the dropdowns to be on the line below its descriptive text and all be the same size.

3) Attribute images are being shown no matter what. I want the customer to pick a case from the dropdown and then show the image below the dropdown menu. I want only the selected attribute's image to shown, not all of them :)

4) The "Add to cart" button is in a funny spot and is also formatting the text and dropdown for "RAM" funny... anyway to fix that?

4) I want the index page to not have any left or right columns. I have seen how to do this with EZ Pages, perhaps there is a way to make an EZpage the front page?

I have fixed so many things already just by looking up existing threads, but I need help on these things, thanks so much :)

Just an update................

I fixed problem #1 by just adding a display only "---" dropdown, then I don't get a radio button- just a dropdown menu with 2 options with one you can't pick :)

I still haven't figured out how to show only 1 image for any given dropdown attribute. It would also be great to know how to make all my dropdowns the same size.

That is really the only stuff I am missing, I can live with not figuring out the other stuff (remove columns, add to cart button position).
