    Default Paypal and credit cards

At the moment when someone completes a transaction on my site and selects to pay it goes to this paypal page.

I would like it to go straight to the pay with credit card page...

    can this be done??

It probably could be done, but you'd have to convince PayPal it's a good idea.

That's a PayPal thing, not Zencart.

    Well that is obvious…

I was asking if it could be done, I know that you can customise some pages in paypal…

What I am asking is can it be customised in this way?

That is still a question you need to ask PayPal.

You're only seeing it that way because *you* ... on *your* computer have already logged in to PayPal ... and PayPal has put a cookie on your computer so that it knows you *already* have a PayPal account. They do that so that *you* can just quickly login and make your purchase using your account.

If your customer doesn't have a PayPal account, then they most likely have never logged in to PayPal, and thus they won't have the cookie, and thus they'll see the screen which lets them enter all their details.

To simulate, just delete the cookies from your browser.

    Thanks for the idea.

But I have tested it and this is not right.

No matter how much I delete cookies, or change computers it always askes me to log into paypal first.

The way I've described it is the way PayPal has designed it to work.
If that's not happening for you, I suggest you contact PayPal technical support for additional research and clarification.

You might check to see whether you've configured your PayPal account to allow customers to purchase without making a PayPal account. That option is only available to "Business" accounts, and is not available to all countries.
