Only allow one shipping option for certain items - HELP!!

Hello Everybody,

Certain items in my shop are to heavy to ship, i would like to set the only available shipping option for these certain items to be store pickup only.

Can anybody help with advise on how to do this

What shipping module(s) are you using for everything else?

i have got the big royal mail options and store pickup

You could set the weight on those items to 5000 and when the order >= 5000 on weight you know there are big things in the cart and that things should not be shipped and then hide the shipping module(s) and only allow Store Pickup to run ...

This would assume if 1 heavy item is in the cart that the whole order is now a Store Pickup only ...
