Specials for selected customers only?

Hi, I've been looking around for this solution for a while. I would like to have a special but have it only show to certain clients that I would define by a setting on their customer page. Much like group pricing allows me to assign a discount based on the category I assign to a customer except I wish to offer a specific second price and not a discount.

The wholesale pricing mod is close but I would like the products to be displayed in a side box or similar. If once logged in I could display a wholesale listing for those customers that are flagged for wholesale pricing that would be great.

Any thoughts? I basically need a dealer price that they can see once logged in after I change their customer info and all those discount items need to be grouped in a menu/box/page of their own.
