Random problem with attributes

Hi all,

I have a customer which zencart shop I've set up almost 2 years ago and it runs now on 1.3.7. This far everything has worked fine without problems.

But now the problem is that the shop started losing attributes from ordered products RANDOMLY!

This started a few weeks ago.

There are orders that have products attributes set correctly for all products.

Then there are orders that have some products that are missing attributes, and some products that have attributes.

Then there are orders that don't have attributes at all although they should.

I've confirmed this from the admin side and from the database (the attributes are not present in the "orders_products_attributes" table)

but I can not seem to reproduce the problem with several test orders...
This makes debugging very hard!

Anyone else run into this kind of sittuation?

Have you noticed a pattern on particular products_id that result in this problem?

Do you have an URL or three that we could peek at to see if we can spot anything?

There were no pattern to them, atleast I could not notice one.
I even did the exact same orders myself and it worked fine for me.

But for now... What I did was reinstall the database (or the attributes table) as there has been some issues with the mySQL server in the past... thus far the problem has not occured anymore, but we are keeping an eye on the sittuation.

I'll post some links if the problem re-appears!

Check to be sure that your attributes are setup to require a customer to make a proper selection and do not "assume" the customer knows to make at least 1 radio button from a selection of radio buttons ...

Thanks for the hint, but all the attributes are dropdown boxes with default set...

But problem hasn't reoccured anymore so it might be solved.
