Adding an external link to a sidebox?

I would like to know how to add an external link- a link to another website-
to the information or the currency sidebox.
I have found similar threads, but they are all about adding a page in zen cart not outside of the zen cart website.

In the download section, search for 'blank sidebox' mod. Then insert a link text like this,

<a href="http://www.theurlhere.com/" target="_blank">The Link Text</a>

Something like that.

I'm not sure how to add the link to the 'information' sidebox. Sorry.

Anyone else know the correct way to insert a link to another website in the currency sidebox?

This worked for me, to add the external link into the currency box:

includes/templates/template_default/sideboxes/tpl_currencies.php

Add the link to the code just before the $content .= '</div>';
