I am setting up a new ZC 1.3.8a in an XAMPP local environment.
It seems to be working as expected.
It is called store thus I have:-
xampp\htdocs\store\includes\languages\english\classic which contains 2 files = header.php and index.php to control the Home Page display.
This works as expected.
But when I copy classic to the same level and name it store, and rename classic as OLDclassic, expecting store to operate as an override, this does not seem to be recognized.
I had expected that my new store folder would operate in the same way as the OLDclassic did.
They are both at the same level in the hierarchy.
Where have I gone wrong?

When you create template folders, you have to edit template_info.php and place it in the new template's root folder (includes/templates/NEWTEMPLATE).

Then you have to select the new template in Admin - Tools - Template Selection

Then you have to click 'Reset' in Admin - Tools - Layout Boxes Controller.
