pricing disapearing

hi all, im sure some one here can help me.
im having trouble with finding how to reinstate prices in admin - Categories / Products, Price/Special/Sale - one day they were there next gone not sure what i have done .
i have looked thru the instruction book and cannot find a reference to my particular problem.

any help would be gratefull.

Well ... prices do not just "disappear" ...

Do you have any add-ons?

Do you import your products?

Are there no prices anywhere in the Admin?

How about the Catalog?

Do you see any prices in the tables via phpMyAdmin if you browse the products table?
