Can you please post the *entire* error message ?

You missed specifying the filename it was trying to write to.

If you're going to turn on Store Page Parse Time, then you also need to give it a filename/path in which to store the information. (ie: "Log Destination" on that same config screen).

QUESTION: Why are you turning this on anyway ?

what does that do any way?

i'm having hack attempts reported by mod security that cought some idot trying to inject into the serchbox function by an error in the apache log...

i'm trying to add a log that tells me what pages people visit... and page_parse_time.log seems to do it only for admin...

what should i turn on to monitor the pages ?

The page-parse-time functionality deals with how long it takes for pages to be processed.

For tracking visitor activity, you'd be better off with the User Tracking addon available in the downloads area.
