Linked product goes to master category when clicked
One thing that throws me off on linked products. I have a product in one category (its main category) and set up a link (alias) of that product in another category. If somebody finds the "linked/alias" of that product and goes to Product Info view, then clicks the previous/next buttons, he/she will be in the main category the product was originally listed in (the non-alias of the product).
For instance my website sells antique home hardware. I might have a handle that could be used on a screen door or on a furniture drawer. I figure it will most likely be used on a door so I put the product in the "door hardware" category. Then link/alias it to the "Furniture" category so it is also seen there. If somebody is browsing my "Furniture" category and clicks on the handle to see the Product Info, then clicks previous or next, they are now in the door hardware category and viewing door handles.
Is there a way to stop this? That they stay in the same category they were without having to use the Browser's back button? I don't want to use the Duplicate function because there might only be one item available and if somebody runs a search on the site they will find two listing and might click to buy them both.
Any ideas would be great. Or maybe there is just no way around it!
