Custom XML solution

Is there a module for custom XML to be sent to a fullfillment house to process the order?

Basically, I have a URL and an XML template from a fullfillment house. I need to send the XML populated with order info to that URL each time a order is completed.

I would prefer its done automatically and that I don't have to go into the admin to fire off each one.

I'm looking at hacking my way into the cart to do it, but if there is a module that I can use as a template, that would save me some time and some breaking of the cart.

OK, I've poking my way inside the code to do the above
I think I have a HTTPRequest working that will send the XML
Where at in the code would be the best place to 'insert' this code?
After the CC# Authorization
Maybe where the confirmation email is sent?
Does anyone know the path to the code that does that?
I would still take a plugin that sent an XML template to a URL if anyone had one or knew of one I could adapt. That way the URL and other setting could be modified from the cart admin and not hard coded
