COD With Free Shipping

Hey,

I am trying to set up a COD fee with free shipping. I have my cart set up that all orders over $50.00 have free shipping, but also want to include an option for my customers to select COD which there is a fee for this. At the moment even with COD enabled any orders over $50.00 automatically skip the COD part of the postage section and proceed straight to the payment section.

How do i fix this

You can setup the follow ...

Modules ... Payments ... Cash On Delivery cod and INSTALL it ...

Modules ... Order Totals ... COD Fee ot_cod_fee and INSTALL it ...
Configure it for the fees based on the shipping module

COD Fee for Free Shipping by default
Free by default: <Country code>:<COD price>, .... 00 as country code applies for all countries. If country code is 00, it must be the last statement. If no 00:9.99 appears, COD shipping in foreign countries is not calculated (not possible)

Example: US:3.00 will charge $3.00 fee

Modules ... Order Totals ... Shipping ... set to Free Shipping on Orders over 50.00

Now, you will see Free Shipping on checkout_shipping, you will see your COD on checkout_payment and you will see the COD Fee on the checkout_confirmation page in the Totals ...

Thanks for posting back the update that you were able to use the Order Total module for COD fees ...
