Hey guys - we tried the Updater but it didn't work

All we want to do is get the "Starting at" price correct ie so that it includes the base price + selected attributes.

A sample page is http://www.competo.co.nz/index.php?m...products_id=11

In the above example the base price is $899 and the default attributes are set at $0. The product is set as "priced by attributes = false". It seems that the "Starting at" price is adding up the default attributes ($0 x 3 = $0.00) but is not including the base price.

The interesting thing is if you click "buy now" the base price IS included in the shopping cart and shows on the invoice. Issue seems to only be with the "starting at" display price.

Any ideas?!?!?!

At this time, there isn't an updater for the displayed price of a Product as the Attributes happen ...

Also, based on that product you are showing, your products are NOT Priced by Attribute ...

You Products have a Base Price plus have Attributes of things that could be added to the price, but are not part of the lowest price possible ...

NOTE: Price by Attribute is for when you have a Product Price that cannot be displayed without including the Attribute Price before the Attributes are added to the Product to be added to the cart ...

I had to chop out a bit of the code that dealt with default currencies - it worked with that code in on one of the three Zencart installs but not the other two. I couldn't work out why but it was stopping the price updater working.
