Store Locater

I'm wondering if there is an add on that would support a "Store Locater" funtion where a visitor to the site could enter a postal code and get back a list of retail outlets for our products.

If you have a store where you're selling products to retail outlets, having a store locater where visitors can search for a retail outlet close to them is a highly desirable feature to have on your site. (My client has been asking for this for a couple of months).

I've located a few commercial products online and my client chose the one from http://yourphppro.com/. I'll be implementing this software on her site in the next couple of days. However, this product requires its own separate database with its own maintenance.

A ZC add-on that would do something similar and could be maintained from the ZC admin page would be a very nice thing to have.

Knowing what I know about the Zen Cart architecture and how I had to use ZC to support my client's requirements for supporting both retail and wholesale customers, integrating an add-on module to support a store locator (wholesale customers) for the retail side of the business would be (in my humble opinion) a massive programming effort. Since I do not pretend to be a programmer, implementing a stand-alone solution is the quickest and easiest way to go.

I have a client that is selling a line of hair and body care to both retail and wholesale customers. Because of the different support requirements for each type of customer, I implemented two Zen Carts, one for each customer type. (Actually, her original retail store was implemented by someone else. I just landed the ongoing maintenance work for the site).

Now that the wholesale site is fully functional, my client wants to add the capability for the visitors to her retail site to click a link opening a store locator function, enter their zip code, and have the locator return a list of stores (wholesale customers) in their area.

After a day and a half of research, we've decided to implement a product from http://yourphppro.com/. We chose this application because it's the only one I could find that allows my client's wholesale customers to log in and change/add their own contact/location information, saving my client the time necessary to maintain yet another database.

However, I'm having a problem with this module -

I've added two fake stores/locations and have created the EZ page - the link is showing up correctly in my sidebox and is linking to where it should...
However, nothing is showing up on the page once I click the link...
I see the breadcrumbs (which say Home::Where to Buy - even though I changed the name of the page to US Retailers, but that's not important) - what's important right now is that neither of my test stores/locations is showing up on the page at all... it's just blank.

Has anyone played with this module...?
Anyone have any ideas?

I really want to add the where-to-buy module, just unclear as to its installation, one of the instructions says to rename the template file to the custom template. I am using the default template. and am really new to zen cart so I really don't want to mess up everything I've done so far.

Any help with this module would be greatly appreciated.

Are you using the classic template? Then the template folder would be renamed to classic
