Searching in Admin/categories doesn't work for me

Hello,

I've searched for related topics on this but, this forum is incredible difficult to find information on. Hopefully, someone here will pick up on this on answer my question.

I am using ZC 1.3.8. I am in the Admin/categories section. I enter in my Model specific search text, and ZC cannot find my category entry.

What gives?

Before you answer, know that I am a Codd & Date study. If you don't know them, please don't bother.

The search is product-related. It doesn't search category entries at the present time.

/admin/categories.php, aka, Admin/Catalog/Categories-Products

I am two levels down from "Category" level, which by definition and in all reality is Products. I am here;

http://domain.com/admin/categories.php?cPath=5_8

Search should work here, it does not.

Well, on a fresh brand new v1.3.8 install with demo products included for ease of example, if I click on the "Software" category, then click "Strategy", I have two products shown ... thus am at the "products" level as you indicate.

I note that one of those products is "The Wheel of Time Linked". So, to test your alleged problem, I pick the word "time" and enter it in the "Search" field at the top of the screen and press Return.

On my site, it happily brings back all the products containing the word time in their name or description, including "The Wheel of Time Linked".

So ... the search appears to work.

I'm not sure what your expectations were.
