Salad Bar Dropdown Attributes

I've made a salad bar for a kitchen site that has 40 drop-down attributes with 4 portion selections each, including a "none". How can I get the cart to not show all the ones that have "none" selected. Salad bar is priced a 0$ as are all the "none" with price determined by the selections on the various attributes. All works good, but shows all the attributes in checkout, including the one's marked "none" Am I missing something?
