Default Got My SSL Certificate What do I do now

I want to move from Authorize.net SIM to AIM because of some of the customization features AIM gives. SIM is working so my Authorize.net account is ok.

I was told I needed an SSL Cert to go with AIM so I have that now and my hosting company has installed it. I don't know what to do now. Is all I need to do is start configuring the AIM module and it's all transparent? I'm a little hesitatnt because we open for business 7/28 and the SIM module is working.

Both addresses work for our site now

    https://www.themainentree.com
    and
    http://www.themainentree.com

But when you hit the secured site it seems to redirect right to the unsecured site.

Any guidance or help is appreciated.

    Thanks

    Bob

Have you set HTTPS to TRUE in your "configure.php" files ?

    There are 2 of these:

    includes/configure.php
    admin/includes/configure.php

You will see what to do when you open them to edit.

If your CHMOD on these is 444, you'll need to change permissions to at least 644 before you can open them to edit.

Also... looks like cert was issued to CN (Common Name) themainentree.com and not to www.themainentree.com

    Thanks Fair,

Is the CN configuration going to mess me up?

    I do appreciate the education

If you want www.themainentree.com and not themainentree.com to be your URL, then you will have to cancel and remove that cert and have one issued for www.themainentree.com .

Visitors going to https://www.themainentree.com will get a security warning...

... which is not good for business!
