    Default php editor

    I am looking for a free php editor, can anyone point me into the right direction??

    Any good text editor will work - I use Notepad++, some others here prefer Crimson Editor.

    Try Text Pad ... www.textpad.com, I think --- I check and the URL is correct.

    I was just looking at the two products that were mentioned.

    Crimson Editor may very well be a good product, the current version date is from 2004
    Text Pad, being a try before you buy software is still in current development. latest release March of 2008

    I use Text Pad in Windows when notepad is not enough. Otherwise I do all of my dev work on a Linux box and the Text Editor that comes with Ubuntu Gnome is just fine.

    I use Crimson Editor. It's free and reliable. I haven't tried Notepad++, but I do use Notepad as well. Crimson Editor displays line numbers and color codes php.

    Eclipse, Aptana, etc...
    I no longer provide installation support on forum for all my modules. However, if there are real bugs with the modules please feel free to contact me
