    Default Image display problems

I have a new installation of zencart and upload pics via admin console or ftp, but canīt get them to display. Iīve changed resolution, sizes etc but to no avail. I,m sure it is something simple, I am hosting with godaddy, if this may mean something. Any tips would be much appreciated.

goDaddy hosting isn't stopping your images from appearing (I hosted with them in the past - but moved due to SLOW site speeds).

    What format are your images?

What permission level do you have on the file you are loading images to?

Can you type your image address in the browser bar and see the image?

A link to your site would really be helpful.

    Image format is j peg
    Permission levels are 777
When typing the address in the browser bar I get "The image .........cannot be displayed because it contains errors". which is interesting.

The link to the site is www.placasplacas.com and I must warn you that I am very very new to this so please donīt laugh too much when you see it.

    Many thanks.

Have you tried re-exporting them from photoshop(?).
Did you save them NOT as progressive?
Have you tried re-uploading them, checking the upload format is correct?
How did you upload them? Via an FTP app or through the browser?

    Hi there

It feels as though I have tried everything, progressive and non, ftp and browser upload, re-saved and changed res and size etc. The fact that I can veiw other files in the images directory suggests the problem is with my images. Frustration.

Just found that the problem is with how Photoshop is saving or has saved the images, because when saved with MS Paint they work just fine.

It would be interesting to know what is going on here, maybe some permission type issue or something, if anyone knows. But many thanks to all for the help and support.
