Limit Product Types to Specific Zip Code

Lets say for example I have a product type "product_food" and I only want to sell it to people in a certain zip code (for local delivery only).

Is it possible to restrict product type like that? or would I have to create a new shipping type?

No, only a specific product type. In this case I created a product type "product_food" that I only want people in a certain zip code to be able to order. The other items like general products are allowed to be ordered by anyone.

I'm kind of looking for the same thing where pricing depends on the state it's going to be shipped to.
